NOVA Birth Classes is committed to its students’ health and well-being while still providing the same high quality in-depth class curriculum and schedule.  Expectant mothers and their labor support persons now safely attend class from the comfort of their homes!

Class Goals

Childbirth Education classes prepare and inform the mother and her labor support person about pregnancy and childbearing.  My intention is to provide information and promote confidence needed for labor and delivery, encourage health and wellness in pregnancy, and serve as a bridge between the students and their obstetricians.

  • Introduction to your baby – by a local Pediatrician

Sunday Class Curriculum

  • Diapering
  • Fetal Presentations
  • Induction and Aids to Delivery, and Cesarean Deliveries
  • Circumcision
  • The Post-Partum Period: Adjustments to Parenthood
  • Selecting a Pediatrician
  • Rehearse Labor Breathing Techniques
  • Introduction to Breast feeding
  • Infant Nutrition – Breast & Formula Feeding
